Blessing Dress

I wish these pictures did justice to just how beautiful Caroline's blessing dress is.  My sweet mom made this dress for her and it has so much meaning. It is made partially with dupione silk that was also used for my sisters wedding dress.  The stitching on the back of the dress of the flower was my late sister, Heather's doodle.  The dress had a slip made with a large, delicate C hand embroidered on the chest. And the bag was hand embroidered with the details of the blessing. I am so lucky to have such a talented mama!

Holy Cute.

For those of you who know my mom knows she is a beautiful person inside and out. She found this fabric and wanted to make all of the grandkids outfits for fourth of July but since everyone was dispersing for the summer, we snapped some pictures on Mother's Day.  We all love Grandma Kat and will cherish these pictures of her with her grandkids forever.

Skiing

For Christmas this year, Mama Kat rented a cabin up in Midway, UT.  The day we left, she wanted to take the twins and Leni skiing at Sundance.  She taught skiing for 15 years.  We grew up doing it from the ripe ages of 2 and 3, so naturally, it's what you do in our family when you turn that age.  I didn't ski this time because I forgot my gear, but I was able to take pictures instead.  Poor Leni was soo sick and was not having it, but the boys did sooo awesome and kept begging us to go up on the "big" hill.  Here are a few photos from the day.

You know you want to.
