Bits and Pieces. Day 4 and 5 1/2.

My house is destroyed, I just finished a big assignment I have put off for 2 weeks, my laundry is awesomely piled 2 feet high on my bed, I stayed up until 3 a.m. (hunger games), went to an optometry appointment this morning with blood shot eyes and a headache from lack of sleep,  and I ate cookies for breakfast.  I am not even mad about one of those things.  No but seriously, I'm not.  Because I am going to hang out with my grandpa right now, go to dinner for his birthday and spend time in the legitical (legit + radical) weather.  I have had the best week, and this next week is going to be even more awesome.  Is that even possible?  You know it.

Bits & Pieces. Day 3

Today has been spent helping my mom for a big event she was in charge of.  I bought all of the ingredients below for a meal, and then realized 5 hours later that I had been cooking the wrong type of meat for the meal I planned in the crock pot all day.  It's been one of those days.  Please tell me you have those days too?   But productive nonetheless!  The clouds are awesome today.  Did you see them?

The bits and pieces in the post below are from yesterday.  I wanted to do a week of bits and pieces. Day 2.

Bits and Pieces

Do you ever put items on your checklist that you have to do.  For example, brush your teeth.  Well I guess you don't have to do that.  But things you know you will do, just to get that satisfaction of putting a big, fat line through the middle of it.  I do.  I am a list maker.  I'm weird about my lists too.  I have to be using a good utensil (pencils won't do), and it has to be on thick paper.

1.    A view from the top of my reorganizing recipes process yesterday. 

2.    Spring is coming. I have proof.

3.1  Buckets for my garden. Got them for $1! Cheapest I've found yet were $9 a piece.

3.2  I made a fabric garland and want to do an ombre die. I am still debating between colors. I'm                  thinking orange. What do you think?

4.    Refrigerator 

5.    List with sharpie and thick paper.
