God is good.

We have been having so much fun lately.  Any chance we are not working or doing our callings, we try to get to the lake.  It's probably illegal how much fun we have had.

Monday night we had family home evening at the lake. Now that probably is illegal. Actually I don't think it is. We had a blast.

And one thing I know for sure.  God is good.  Look at the skies.  I love where I live because of the amazing sunsets. Every direction I turned on Monday night the skies were gorgeous. There is without a doubt, beauty all around.

And while we're on the subject, I am an instagram-aholic too.

i don't claim to be a fashionista by any means.
i just like sharing what i like. 
if i had babies. trust me, every post would be about them. bet ya can't wait.
if i lived at home. i'd take pictures of decorating or projects. soon, very soon!
if my life was interesting at the moment, i'd take pictures of it. 
but i assure you, that you do not want pictures of nursing stuff. huzzah!

the study of beauty

As I was reading one of my nursing books today I came upon a sentence I loved.

"Aesthetics is the study of what is beautiful.  

It attempts to answer the question,

Why do we find things beautiful?"

So I thought about this sentence for about ten minutes, and read it over several times.

What do I find beautiful?

The human body

flowers.

A pregnant mama.

Laughter.

Brown Eyes.

Culture.

Creativity.

Natural things.

What do you find beautiful.
