What a nice welcome home from my yard.

My peonies (my favorite flower) bloomed while I was out.

Spencer said I murdered the peony bush but I enjoy them more inside than out.

I've spent the past few days with the youth in my ward.

Love them to pieces.

My post is inspired by what is going on right now in my sister's life.

I love you. I pray for you. Although I am scared for you, I know everything will be okay.

I hope this quote brings you comfort as it does me.

On a Sunday note, Church was awesome today. What's new.  I love sundays, I love church. 

I personally need that weekly edification. Today we learned about the light and truth that each of us possess, the restoration, and enriching marriage. 

Yesterday we were able to attend the temple with Spencer's cousin and husband who received their endowments and thereafter her little family of two boys was sealed. It was very special and I felt lucky to be there.  The thought that their family was sealed that day forever gave me the chills. I am SO happy for this blessing.

Now I am off to make some homemade bread! I got the recipe off of here. Wish. Me. Luck.

we love conference weekend. here are some items that we think are conference necessities.

A couple of weeks ago I made these little cards for my young women.

I put them in mason jars for them to put at the center of their dining tables as conversation pieces.

I thought I would share them. Feel free to use them.

And if you need a bigger size, email me and I will send you the size I made.

today was my turn to teach my mia-maid girls in my ward at church. 

i love them, oh, i love them. 

the lesson was on the purpose of life. paying particular attention to each individual's purpose in life. 

i learn a great deal in teaching and i suppose that is how it is intended to work. something that was 

included in the lesson plan that i love said, "there are things for each of you to do that no one else can do as well as you..... if you will let Him". let me repeat. there are certain things that only ______ (name goes here) can do that no one else can do as well as ______.

  i think that is pretty neat. 

the lesson focused on things that will bring guidance in our lives and help us find our purpose.

and now my favorite line of the lesson.....

"be influenced by that still, small voice"

so dang awesome.

once upon a time

i attempt

Something I read at church today and loved, in one of my classes.

"Attempt to be creative for the joy it brings. Being creative will help you enjoy life. It engenders a spirit of gratitude. 

It develops latent talent, sharpens your capacity to reason, to act, and to find purpose in life. 

It dispels loneliness and heartache. It gives a renewal, a spark of enthusiasm, and zest for life".

 I love this quote oh so much.

I am don't consider myself a 'creative' person, but I do attempt to create.

This quote is so true.

As I have done photography and other various 'crafts', I feel like I have gained a greater

appreciation for the beauty that surrounds me and my Heavenly Father's creations.

I notice things now, that I would have never noticed.

My vision has changed.

My View of my surroundings has changed.

I will never view some of God's creations the same.

I am grateful I notice something as simple as lighting.

Spencer and I will be driving in the car and I'll hurry and tell him to look at light coming through trees.

Before, I would not have noticed it.

I have gained an appreciation for details.

I love to create.

I never want to quit attempting to create.

Because I know there is so much more beauty around me. 

Yet to be noticed.

And

I know it makes Heavenly Father happy.

It makes me happy.

And for that, I am grateful.
