My favorite treat.

My favorite treat lately has been strawberries and powdered sugar.  It's the perfect, summer treat.  And treat is just what I need lately between being oriented to a new job, studying for my national boards, and required courses for my new job. Don't get me wrong, my new job is awesome.  The stress level in my life right now is just a little high.  But come July, watch out, because I am going to party! If I pass boards that is :).

1st Semi-Annual Bake Off

I am feeling pretty good about myself. It normally takes me a month or two to post 

about something but this actually happened last night. Go me.

Well the 1st Semi-Annual Bake Off occurred last night at our home. And let's just say I am looking forward to the next. It was the most fun I have had in quite sometime. Everyone brought their A-game and when it came to voting for the most beautiful and the best tasting, I wanted to vote for everyone because it was all. so. good.  The winners rightfully won however! If you missed it, don't worry.
